This article shows how to provide your users access to create or process role based requirements against projects and view Gap Report with the help of examples.
Note: These videos only show how to configure access to create or process role based requirements, but the user may have access to other screens also. So you may want to apply these examples in addition to user's existing permission settings. You can also use multiple examples together to achieve desired results.
Creating Resource Requirements (Example 1-3)
Example 1: User has rights to create Resource Requirements against all projects and view Resource Gap Report.
Tip: Turn on the volume and view in full screen mode. You may want to pause the video in between to study screens at your own pace.
Example 2: User has rights to create Resource Requirements against projects of project manager 'John Smith' and view Resource Gap Report for John Smith's projects.
Tip: You can define rights using any other project grouping that you may have configured. e.g. Client, Project Manager, Team etc.
Example 3: User has rights to create Resource Requirements against 'Projects A' and 'Project B' and view Resource Gap Report for these two projects.
Process Resource Requirements (Example 4 & 5)
Example 4: User has rights to process Resource Requirements of all projects.
Example 5: User has rights to process resource requirements of projects A and B.
Tip: You can define rights using any project grouping that you may have configured e.g. Client, Project Manager, Team etc.
