Export options lets user control how rows are displayed in your exported spreadsheets.
1. All Rows Expanded
In this example, the report is organised by Resource - Project (Resource is Level 1 and Project is Level 2). As we can see in the screenshot below, the rows are collapsed on the screen, only the resource names (Level 1) are visible, while their associated projects (Level 2) remain collapsed.
While exporting, when we choose the All Rows Expanded option, as shown in the screenshot below, the system ensures that every row (Level) is displayed in a separate column in the exported spreadsheet.
The exported sheet (as shown below) is showing resources (Level 1) in column A and projects (Level 2) in column B along with their corresponding hours.
2. All Rows Collapsed
In this example, the report is organised by Role - Resource - Project. (Role is Level 1, Resource is Level 2 and Project is Level 3) As we can see in the screenshot below, some rows (Levels) are expanded and some are not.
When we choose the All Rows Collapsed option while exporting (as shown in the screenshot below) the system ensures that every row (Level) is collapsed in the exported spreadsheet.
The exported sheet (as shown below) has all the rows (Level) collapsed and displays only the roles (Level 1) in column A along with their corresponding hours.
3. Same as Visible Rows
In this example, the report is organised by Resource - Project (Resource is Level 1 and Project is Level 2). As we can see in the screenshot below, only the rows for Albert (Level 1) and Ayn (Level 1) are expanded, while the rest of the rows remain collapsed.
When we choose the Same as Visible Rows option while exporting (as shown in the screenshot below), the system exports rows (Levels) as visible on the screen.
The exported sheet (shown in the screenshot below) now shows each resource along with their corresponding hours, only Albert’s and Ayn’s rows (Levels) are expanded and column B is showing their projects.
