The Reports screen in eRS covers utilization, effort, variance, availability, and profitability data across your projects and resources. By connecting eRS MCP to Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or any other AI assistant you use, you can ask for any of these reports in plain language, filtered by date range, team, role, or threshold, without opening eRS directly.
This article lists the prompts you'll need to pull these reports, including tailor-made dashboards that combine more than one view, straight out of eRS.

Best practices for prompting
- Be specific: Naming the date range, team, or threshold gets a sharper report than a broad question.
- Ask for a format; Saying "as a table" or "ranked list" gives a cleaner answer than leaving it open.
- Break big requests into smaller ones: Instead of asking for a full capacity picture in one go, ask for utilization first, then narrow by team or threshold.
- Treat AI answers as a starting point, not the final word: Double-check any number going into a client update or leadership deck in eRS itself.

3. List active projects by scheduled effort.
